Michał Tomaszowski

Hi, my name is Michał (Michael) Tomaszowski. I am a long-time enthusiast of swimming, as an active titled athlete and Swimming Coach with several years of experience, I have a wide range of theoretical knowledge and what’s the most important – PRACTICAL experience.

What can you expect?

As a coach, my mission is to support athletes in discovering their full potential, help them achieve their goals and dreams. I focus on the all-around development of my athletes, paying special attention to technique, endurance and mental preparation for the challenges ahead.

I offer individualized training plans that I tailor to each athlete’s needs and goals. My methods are based on years of practice, international experience and continuous expansion of coaching knowledge during courses and extension coaching conferences. I work with amateurs and professionals who want to push their own limits, gain new skills, develop and succeed in what they do.

Who I am?

I’m a student, coach, sports enthusiast with a love for unique challenges and unusual activities. My 15 years of competitive experience includes more than 650 starts in international and national competitions, during which I won many championship titles, including 3 World Championship titles, 2 European Championship titles, and I have established the World Record for 450m freestyle in ice swimming in 2024. I have also competed many times in Oceanman events while occupying OPEN category podium positions (10km,5km and 2km) including World Final Championship Phuket 2023 and Dubai 2024, Oceanman Cattolica 2023 and 2024.

Career Coaching

4 years ago I became the youngest Coach in Poland with a certificate of the Polish Swimming Federation, and during this short period I already had the pleasure of working many times with children, youth and adult athletes on their pool, open water and ice swimming skills.

Many of them are improving in performance from month to month, and the biggest success so far for my athletes have been 2 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MEDALS and a NATIONAL RECORD in the age category in ice swimming.

My BIGGEST achievements:

• World Record Holder

• 3 World & 2 European Champion titles

• 13 World Championship medals

• 7 medals of the European Championships

• 15 medals of the Polish Championships

• Swimming the Gulf of Gdansk on the route Hel-Gdynia (17.5km)

• Oceanman World Final Championship Dubai (10km & 2km) – 2nd Open

In my career I have tried many varieties of swimming – in the pool, Open Water, fin swimming, water lifesaving, ice swimming and Aquatholn. My experience is wide, and I try to infect anyone with ambition and willingness to work with passion.
