Marius Necau

I was born in Piteşti, Romania, in 1982. My connection with swimming began as a child and quickly turned into a true calling. In 2000, at just eighteen years old, I began working in the swimming pool industry as an instructor and coach. For ten years, from 2000 to 2010, I was fortunate enough to train and coach countless athletes and enthusiasts in Romania, an experience that taught me the importance of combining technique, empathy, and passion.

In 2010, I decided to move to Piacenza, Italy, where I still live and where I have continued to dedicate myself to pool coaching.

Alongside my work, I cultivate another great passion: travel. I love exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and challenging myself in ever-changing contexts. Through my experience with Oceanman, I had the opportunity to combine my two greatest passions—swimming and travel—by participating in international competitions and swimming in spectacular waters around the world.
