How can I participate?
OCEANMAN World Final Championship offers two categories:
Open Event: This category is open to everyone who wants to participate. No prior qualification is needed. We have all distances available:
– OCEANMAN 10 KM
– HALF OCEANMAN 5 KM
– SPRINT 2 KM
– OCEANKIDS 500 M
– OCEANTEAMS 3*500 M (team relay)
World Final Championship: The exclusive category for the fastest swimmers who have qualified throughout the season by finishing in the top 10 of their age group at any OCEANMAN event.
Can I sign up for the Open Event and switch if I qualify later?
Absolutely! If you want to secure your spot in the World Fiinal and be part of this adventure, you can register for the Open Event. If you later qualify by ranking in the top 10 of your age group in any OCEANMAN race, you can easily switch your registration to the World Final Championship.
Which events qualify me for the Final?
Qualifying events include all races on the 2024 OCEANMAN calendar plus OCEANMAN Lima 2023, and the Open Event at OCEANMAN World Final Championship in Phuket 2023. If you rank in the top 10 of your age group in any of these events, you can register for the World Final Championship in the same distance you competed in: OCEANMAN, HALF OCEANMAN, SPRINT, or OCEANKIDS.
A first for OCEANKIDS!
For the first time ever, our OCEANKIDS category will be part of the grand final. Young swimmers will have the chance to compete and be part of this prestigious event, qualifying in 4 age group.
