Biography
Jose Luis Larrosa (Spain) is National Swimming Coach (RFEN) Certified, ASCA Swimming and Open Water Level 5. ILS (International Lifesaving), Red Cross Lifeguard Certified, WOWSA Open Water Coach Certified and OCEAN MAN Platinum Coach. He has 22 years of experience coaching swimming and open water. He is being Head Coach in different clubs and International Schools.
Jose is also an International Open Water Swimmer, focused in Ultra Distance, with achievements in many events above 25Km. He is being a double champion in Baghirathi Marathon Swim in Ganges River 81Km. He holds some relay and individual records in different Open Water events.

Two way Relay Gibraltar Strait Record holder, Gibraltar Strait solo 3h12min, 6 times Tabarca Marathon Swim 21Km, 4 times Faros Marathon (Croatia), he is being the winner of Ultramarathon Kalamata – Stoupa (Greece), Perhentian Swim Challenge (Malaysia), participated in marathon swim events in Argentina, Brazil, Netherlands, Croatia, Serbia, Portugal, Poland, Thailand, Greece, Switzerland, Brunei, India,Australia, New Zealand…
As a coach, he Is a highly qualified and prepared Swimming and Open Water swimming coach. He have prepared during last years to afford Channel crossings like English Channel, Tsugaru Channel, Cook Strait, Gibraltar strait, Catalina Channel, as well as Oceanman events, other open water events and triathlons.
