Kathriana Mella

Hi, I am Kathriana Mella from Indonesia. I am currently still a competitive swimmer and also a coach. I started off my International swimming career as an athlete in 2011 at the Indonesia National Team as a sprinter who only swam 50 meters to 200 meters freestyle the longest, then switching to triathlon in 2017, where that was my first ever open water swimming happenings.

And I have fallen in love with long distance swimming ever since.

For the past two years, I have been coaching for Millennium Aquatic in Jakarta, where as a team we hold the title for the Best Indonesia swimming club for 8 consecutive years at the Indonesia Open Aquatic Championships. Here together, I coach from competitive age group swimmers from age 10 to master swimmers who compete at World Aquatics Master Championships or even Oceanman events.

Combining swimming as an athlete and coaching, giving me new experience and a good point of view on how to become a good coach and how I am going to deliver a good program to our athletes. As I gained a lot of experience in various distances and bodies of water. I am a competitive athlete and very passionate about coaching, here to share everything I know about this sport and help you achieve your goal, so you can, too, swim in open water.
